This year The Charlotte Auto Fair will feature the RadWood Car Show as well! There will also be the AACA Southeastern Spring National, the Car Corral, the Swap Meet, and at least a dozen Make-Specific Car Clubs. There’s a fee of $12 to cover Saturday night’s, food and supplies.

Mix and mingle with members/friends from both clubs and other car enthusiasts. WHO: Club members (plus friends & non-members) for this unique event. WHAT: This is a come-as-you-are Road Trip to PA with little to no agenda or fees. Drive what you wish, most guys will probably drive modern for this one. You‘ll be like a kid in a car-candy store. Go at your own pace throughout the museum. Visit their website to see the photos which explains it all - amazing!. Classic Auto Mall (It is a world class consignment house located in southeastern Pennsylvania with indoor showroom space for up to 1,000 collectable and special interest vehicles over the entire past 100 years offered for sale. WHEN/WHERE: DAY ONE: FRIDAY 4/04: - We tour the fabulous Classic Auto Mall. Friday museum hours are 9:00am - 5:00pm, Saturday hours are oddly 9:00am - 12 noon. Most of us coming from out-of-state will arrive late Friday morning. This event is hosted by Flamingo Auto Group South a region of LCC, all Florida Regions of LCCI and their guests, and potential new members are more than welcome. All the regions will be meeting at their perspective meetup locations for a coffee Saturday morning April 26, 2024. From there, we will travel to Lake Okeechobee. We suggest attendees to check into their hotel/motels around 2pm to 3pm. Take a little powernap or have a scenic drive around the lake. We will be gathering at 5:30pm at the KOA RV Campground at the Lake Pavilion. We will have a someone there at the entrance to guide you. We anticipate the social will last 3 to 4 hours. There will be Auto Horrors Story Time, Pin the Tail on the Lemon, Burgers Buns & Weiner‘s, and Sticky Fingers S‘mores.
Your fee of $20.00 includes food and beverages but we will not be serving alcohol. We ask that you drink responsibly.

This event is hosted by Flamingo Auto Group South a region of LCC, all Florida Regions of LCCI and their guests, and potential new members are more than welcome. All the regions will be meeting at their perspective meetup locations for a coffee Saturday morning April 26, 2024. From there, we will travel to Lake Okeechobee. We suggest attendees to check into their hotel/motels around 2pm to 3pm. Take a little powernap or have a scenic drive around the lake. We will be gathering at 5:30pm at the KOA RV Campground at the Lake Pavilion. We will have a someone there at the entrance to guide you. We anticipate the social will last 3 to 4 hours. There will be Auto Horrors Story Time, Pin the Tail on the Lemon, Burgers Buns & Weiner‘s, and Sticky Fingers S‘mores.
Your fee of $20.00 includes food and beverages but we will not be serving alcohol. We ask that you drink responsibly.

The Utah Pride Parade (https://utahpride.org/) is Utah’s largest LGBTQIA+ event! It annually hosts nearly 150,000 spectators and participants, and creates a spectacular chance for our community to be UNAPOLOGETIC! We will be driving our vehicles in the parade again this year. If you‘d like to participate, let me know ASAP so we can get you and your vehicle registered with the parade organizers. We also need at least four walkers in our parade entourage, so if you‘d like to be part of our group but don‘t want to drive, that‘s an option too. If you‘d rather just watch from the side, your day will begin with doughnuts and coffee generously provided by Mark and Bret (8:30 to 9:30 a.m.), up on the roof of their building at 48 West Broadway. From there, we will stroll over to watch the parade together in time for it to start at ten. The parade itself is expected to last about three hours.

The Cache Valley Cruise-In is an annual rod run event hosted by the Cache Valley Cruising Association. Although the emphasis is on the loud and garish, all types of specialty vehicles are accepted. The show typically attracts over 1,000 vehicles, including street rods, street machines, customs, restored vehicles, motorcycles, and trucks. Details for our gathering are still being planned, but will likely include walking the show, watching the parade, and gathering for food and drink at one of our members‘ homes in Logan.

The Lambda Car Club Detroit Region has our own reserved spot on Hines Drive for this event. Our reserved spot is on Hines Drive in an area called Helms Haven Recreation Area located between Outer Drive and Warren Avenue on Coonville Dr. The entrance to Cruisin’ Hines is at the Ford Road entrance to Hines Drive and our reserved location is approximately one mile west of the Ford Road entrance.


Here are this year‘s rules:

· E.N. Hines Dr. closed for all except Classic Cars/Trucks, 25 years & older. All Commercial vehicles must be approved by the organizer in advance. If you show up with a company name on the side of your vehicle the day of the event, it will not be allowed in.
· Park opens at 9am for Cruisers.
· Cruisers must enter at Ford Road west of Evergreen. No entry at Ann Arbor Trail / Nankin Mills, or Merriman Rd. See the map on our website.
· Spectators can park at Merriman Rd. (only from the north), Telegraph Rd. and Warrendale, but may not drive onto E.N. Hines Drive.
· ** Note for Spectators: Parking is limited. Once these lots are full, spectators will need to park off-site.**
· The pavilions will be open to the public. Vendors will be there with food and event goodies.
· All State of Michigan rules apply.
· All park and motor vehicle laws apply.
· No motorcycles, mini-bikes, or golf carts.
· Bicycles must use the bike path or follow State of Michigan bicycle laws. No passing on the right. Follow the flow of traffic.
· Zero tolerance for burn-outs, drunk driving. No racing starts.
· No passing. No parking on the paved shoulder. Paved shoulder must be left clear for emergency traffic.
