This is the first of multiple steps, the last being the payment of your dues. There are two Membership Types – “Members/Renewals-Online Newsletter Only” OR “Members/Renewals-Online&Hardcopy Newsletter”. Select one when joining or renewing.

In 1991, a group of organizing members obtained approval from the Lambda Car Club International national officers to create a new region.  The inaugural meeting of this region, the Tri-Valley Region of LCCI,  was held in Bunker Hill, WV on August 18, 1991.

The club began meeting regularly at members’ homes, occasionally took overnight road trips and also started hosting its own Invitational events.  Inspired by several members’ attendance at a national-sanctioned Grand Invitational in New Hope, PA, Tri-Valley decided to host the 1997 Grand Invitational.  Held at the Venice Hotel in Hagerstown, MD, the event was a great success.  Over the years, we’ve hosted Invitationals in Charlottesville, VA, Winchester, VA, Berkeley Springs, WV and Shepherdstown, WV.  For several consecutive years in the mid-2000’s, our Hot Wheels Invitational was held at the Four Seasons Sheraton in Hagerstown, MD.  The 2006 Invitational was particularly memorable, because one member used his industry connections to secure an afternoon of test drives in a GM experimental hydrogen car (yes, we had to sign liability waivers!).  In August of 2021 Tri-Valley celebrated its 30th birthday with a Mountain Men Getaway Invitational in Lost River, WV

Membership has grown rapidly during the last few years, driven in part by a mix of local  and metro DC-area new members.

The Tri-Valley Region welcomes new faces and new cars, and we look forward to many more years of growing friendships and memorable events.
