About this event

Welcome to the Grand Invitational 2027 in sunny Fort Lauderdale! We’ve curated an exclusive, all-inclusive, and truly fabulous week of events designed to celebrate our shared passion for the road. To keep things seamless, we’ve created one comprehensive package of amazing experiences; even if you miss a moment, you’re guaranteed an incredible time. Every detail, from our premium hotel partner to each curated outing, has been extensively scrutinized to ensure total member satisfaction. Our primary mission this past year was to secure sponsors to subsidize the costs, allowing us to prioritize your comfort and care while offering a once-in-a-lifetime, unique experience of premier car-related events.

A snapshot of the week of events.....

A fabulous stay is non-negotiable, so we’ve curated a little luxury for you at the B Ocean Resort........

It is with great pleasure that we announce the fabulous
B Ocean Resort as the distinguished host for our Grand Invitational 2027. In our pursuit of excellence, we sought a destination that transcends the ordinary, offering a sanctuary where tropical splendor meets unparalleled luxury.

We have meticulously curated an experience that allows you to enjoy the radiant Florida sunshine and the coastal breeze with absolute peace of mind. After extensive negotiations, we are delighted to offer an exclusive rate of $199.00 per night. This exceptional arrangement features:

  • Complimentary Full Breakfast: A full daily breakfast buffet to begin your day.
  • Premier Conveniences: Complimentary covered parking and a complete waiver of all resort fees.
  • Special Self Parking: For those who find the thought of a stranger behind their wheel utterly scandalous, please feel free to station your own vehicle in quartered off employee lot on the premises.
  • Iconic Atmosphere: Immediate access to the world-renowned Wreck Bar, home of the legendary sirens.
To provide context for this extraordinary value, this rate represents a 30% reduction compared to similar beachfront properties—an achievement made even more remarkable by the inclusion of such premium amenities.

While we strive for absolute perfection, we must note that our gathering coincides with the height of Spring Break. We trust you will view the occasional presence of daringly attired exuberant youth with a sense of "joie de vivre"—and perhaps it serves as a gentle reminder to pack your most stylish swimwear as well!

While you’re making your grand debut at the front desk, consider our outpost your very first (and most rewarding) stop.......................

Tuesday April 20th

  • Dauer Museum

  • 11:30 – 2:00

  • Enjoy a leisurely start to the day before we head to the Dauer Museum for an exclusive tour of both the museum and the restoration shop, hosted by Dr. Dauer. After exploring the secrets of these pristine restorations, we’ll settle in for lunch in the company of South Florida’s finest automotive treasures.

  • Free Time

  • After an afternoon spent in the company of automotive legends, we invite you to make a graceful return to Fort Lauderdale.
  • Whether you choose to wander the city’s charming haunts or retreat to the hotel’s private beach to let the Atlantic wash away the scent of motor oil and nostalgia, the evening is yours to command

  • Grand Sunset Fete’

  • 7:00PM – 9:00PM

  • Join us for an amazing Beach Barbeque

  • In a feat of engineering and elegance, we have secured a truly unprecedented privilege: thanks to a bespoke platform system, a curated selection of our finest motorcars will be displayed directly upon the sands. It is quite a rare occasion when the ocean breeze meets such automotive brilliance—beachfront property has never looked so refined.

  • But let’s not be hasty—the day is merely the opening act. We’ve curated a few nocturnal surprises so delightful they border on the mythical; truly, they must be witnessed firsthand to be believed.

Wednesday April 21st

  • 9am departure from B Ocean Hotel

  • For our local enthusiasts, we invite you to join the morning fray for breakfast before we depart. Should you wish to trade the driver's seat for a more social commute, complimentary parking at the hotel is yours for the taking—allowing you to board the bus and leave the navigation to us.

  • Vizcaya Museum and Gardens

  • 10:00AM – 11:45AM

  • Following a leisurely breakfast, we shall trade the hotel for the plush, chilled embrace of our private coaches. Our destination is the breathtaking Vizcaya Museum & Gardens, a waterfront masterpiece of Gilded Age architecture and lush Italianate landscapes. It is a setting of such cinematic opulence that it famously served as a backdrop for Scarface—though we trust your stroll through the grand loggias and manicured grounds will be significantly more serene, and far less "eventful," than a Tony Montana production.
  • Savor the sweeping vistas of Biscayne Bay before losing yourself in the emerald embrace of our verdant tropical gardens. To crown the afternoon, we invite you on an exceptional tour of the Vizcaya Mansion itself—a masterclass in Gilded Age splendor where every corridor whispers of a more glamorous era. It is, quite simply, the architectural equivalent of a well-aged martini: sophisticated, intoxicating, and entirely timeless.
  • Free Parking is available for those who wish to bring their cars.

  • Lunch – Serena Rooftop Restaurant, The Moxy South Beach

  • 1:00PM – 3:00PM

  • From there, we shall make a stylish descent upon Miami Beach for a mid-day interlude at the iconic Lincoln Road shops. We’ve secured a perch at Serena, a lush rooftop sanctum where lunch is served with a side of dizzying 360-degree vistas of the coastline and the bay. It is the perfect vantage point to survey the horizon—and perhaps judge the local traffic—from the comfort of a sophisticated, open-air garden.
  • Discounted parking is available for those who wish to drive their cars.

  • Whether you choose to seek out the architectural rhythm of the Art Deco District—where the buildings wear neon like jewelry—or prefer to slip away to a discreet hideaway for a mid-afternoon toast, the choice is entirely yours. Consider it a choose-your-own-adventure in high style: will it be a masterclass in pastel geometry or the quiet clink of ice in a clandestine lounge?
  • Once your self-guided exploration concludes, we shall summon the private coaches for a tranquil retreat back to Fort Lauderdale.
Consider it a brief, air-conditioned intermission to rest your feet—and perhaps your shopping bags—before the next act of our Grand Invitational begins.

  • Free Time

  • 3:00PM and After

  • Pray, do ensure you are safely aboard the coach for our return; while a private Uber is always an option, the fare from Miami back to Fort Lauderdale is a luxury even we find a bit... excessive.

  • The late afternoon and evening are yours to command—a rare moment of unstructured elegance in our busy itinerary. Whether you choose to sashay through the local sights, hold court on the private beach, or simply master the fine art of doing absolutely nothing at the hotel, the night is your own. Consider it a well-deserved intermission for a cast as fabulous as this.
  • For dinner, we release you to your own devices. While you are free to follow your own culinary compass, we’ve curated a list of recommended haunts within your program—ranging from the delightfully decadent to the discreetly chic. Consider it a gastronomic roadmap for your evening of independent exploration.

Thursday April 22nd

  • 8:00AM Departure Time – B Ocean Hotel

  • For our local enthusiasts, we invite you to join the morning fray for breakfast before we depart. Should you wish to trade the driver's seat for a more social commute, complimentary parking at the hotel is yours for the taking—allowing you to board the bus and leave the navigation to us.

  • Barrett-Jackson Auction

  • 9:00AM – 12:00PM

  • Once you’ve finished your morning repast at the hotel, we invite you to step aboard our private carriage. We’re whisking you away to West Palm Beach for an afternoon of high-octane glamour at the Barrett-Jackson Auction—where the cars are fast, the bids are bold, and the atmosphere is nothing short of fabulous

  • Lunch

  • 12:30PM – 3:00PM

  • Having indulged your automotive passions at Barrett-Jackson, we shall retreat to the vicinity of the legendary Worth Avenue for a late lunch. It’s the perfect setting to refuel—and perhaps toast to the one that got away (or the one you just won)

  • Having sated both our appetites and our automotive curiosities, we shall retreat via private coach to Fort Lauderdale. Consider it a graceful decompression—a chance to trade tales of the day’s treasures as we glide back toward the city.

  • 3:00PM

  • Do endeavor to be aboard our coach when the clock strikes departure; while West Palm Beach is lovely, a solo trek back to Fort Lauderdale via Uber is a luxury your wallet might find far less charming than the scenery.

  • Free Time

  • 5:30PM – 6:30PM

  • The remainder of the afternoon is yours to enjoy a well-deserved intermission. We suggest retreating to the hotel to indulge in the fine art of doing absolutely nothing—consider it a brief pit stop to recharge your batteries before the evening’s festivities begin.

  • 6:30 Shuttle to the Cruise Ship

  • Step aboard our shuttle as we glide toward the Intracoastal; your chariot to the water’s edge awaits.

  • For our local members: do bring your own wheels and glide directly to the dock.

  • Intercoastal Dinner Cruise

  • 7:00PM – 11:00PM

  • Following our assembly, we shall adjourn to a private cruiser for an evening of culinary delights, served with a side of sparkling Intracoastal views from the deck.

Friday April 23rd

  • The Flamingo Classic 2027 Car Show

  • 8:00AM – 9:00AM Car Entry & Registration

  • Famed Wilton Drive will be shut down from NE 20th St thru NE 9th Avenue Street where we will have the street for our special show. As tradition we invite the public and attendees with cars to join us. This is an amazing opportunity in itself to see some pretty cool cars.

  •  A Wilton Manors camp-styled Pebble Beach Stage will be set up for the Awards Ceremony MC’d by a two incredibly talented special guests."

  • 1:00PM - Awards Ceremony

  • 2:00PM - Show Ends

  • Free Time

  • 2:30PM – 7:00PM

  • You’ll have the late afternoon and evening to see the town, enjoy the beach, or just chill out at the hotel.

  • Dinner is on your own. We’ll be making some recommendations in our program of where to dine.

  • Concert - Hunters Parking Lot

  • 7:00 PM – 10:00PM

  • After a light dinner on your own, head over to Hunters Parking lot where Flamingo Auto Group South and Hunters will host a special display of cars and a stage for musical performance and entertainment.

  • Friday nights at Hunters are the one night never to miss!

  • Don’t have too much fun, tomorrow we’re making Grand Invitational History!

Sunday April 25th

    The Grand Cars & Coffee

  • 9:00AM – 11:00

  • For a truly grand finale to our 2027 Invitational, four of South Florida’s most prestigious Cars & Coffee collectives—stretching from Miami to Palm Beach—are converging just down the road for a singular, monumental "Grand Cars & Coffee." We are suitably charmed to have been invited to join this high-octane gathering; consider it the ultimate parting salute before we part ways.

  • Whether you’re ready to hit the open road or catch a flight, we do hope you’ll linger long enough to join us for this final, most epic ensemble—a parting glass of high-octane camaraderie before you make your grand exit.

  • A mere stroll down the strand reveals a seaside expanse of asphalt—a beachfront parking lot of such scale it’s practically its own zip code.

  • For those lingering a bit longer, we’ve negotiated a stay of execution: a late check-out at 11:00 AM, allowing you to bid the hotel a leisurely and well-rested farewell.

How to get to the resort........

From the Airport
Getting from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) to B Ocean Resort (approx. 6 miles) is best done via rideshare (Uber/Lyft) or taxi, typically costing $20–$25 and taking 15–20 minutes. Taxis and rideshares are readily available at the airport's lower-level arrivals curb.

Transportation Options from FLL to B Ocean Resort:

  • Public Transit: The cheapest, though least direct option. Take the Broward County Transit Route 01 bus, then transfer to the Route 40 bus, which takes roughly 49 minutes to 1 hour.
From the Interstate 95
The easiest and fastest way to get from I-95 to B Ocean Resort (1140 Seabreeze Blvd) is to take Exit 27 for FL-842/Browward Blvd, head east to US-1/Federal Hwy, and go south to SE 17th St, which leads directly to the beach on A1A,
